Kahlia began working at Lattice as a Teaching Assistant in 2017. She received her Bachelors Degree from Sonoma State and hopes to one day obtain her Masters Degree in Psychology.

Gabriela Bourde - Curriculum Development Specialist

B.A. - Psychology, Sociology

Credential - Moderate/Severe Education Specialist


Gaby has worked in special education for 17 years. She was previously a teacher at Lattice. Gaby currently assists Lattice in the areas of curriculum development and teacher support. 

Lisa Bushway-May - Speech-Language Pathologist


Lisa began working at Lattice in 2011 as an instructional assistant. She then pursued her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Pacific. Lisa joined the Lattice family once again in 2016, serving students at Lattice and out in the community. 

Katie Franchetti Bozin - Speech-Language Pathologist

M.A. - SLP


Katie received her masters in speech-language pathology from Chico State. Upon graduating, she worked in early intervention (birth - 3 years) with children and their families in home. Katie has worked in schools throughout Sonoma County and in 2015, joined the team at Lattice Educational Services.

Cathy Franchetti - RN

BSN, PHN, Credentialed School Nurse, School Audiometrist


Cathy has been a registered nurse for 43 years; 41 of which have been spent in school nursing. She previously worked for SCOE serving grades k-12, then special education. Cathy also taught at Sonoma State University in the nursing education department for 8 years. 

Karen Pihl - Speech-Language Pathologist

Karen has worked with children and adults with communication disorders for over 39 years. Lattice has been her home as an SLP for the last 11 years, and continues to provide rich professional experience for her.

Jacob Thornton - Speech-Language Pathology Intern

B.A. Sociology

M.A. (Candidate) Communication Disorders


Jacob began working at Lattice in 2012 as an Instructional Assistant, before moving to the position of Classroom Lead in the Group Behavior Management Program. He now oversees Lattice students working on and off site as WorkAbility I Coordinator. Jacob continues his post-graduate studies at New York University, completing a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders.

Stephanie Weatherley - Speech Language Pathologist

Stephanie joined the Lattice team in 2007 as an instructional aide in the Group Behavior Management Program. She began teaching a transition level classroom in 2010. After teaching for 5 years, she is now completing graduate course work in Speech-Language Pathology.
